Following a rigorous review process under the Agribusiness Challenge Fund, nineteen initial participants have been selected based on their potential to create work opportunities for young women and men with limited financial means, including refugees and persons living with disabilities. These participants will receive support from the Fund over a three-year period, with disbursements tied to agreed milestone targets and released periodically based on progress.
These participants are spread over 11 countries in Sub-Saharan Africa and operate across a range of agricultural value chains.
Additional reviews under the Agribusiness Challenge Fund are ongoing and other selected participants will be announced on a rolling basis.
